Jaeger-LeCoultre Welcomed Guests for the 15th Edition of The Salon Internacional Alta Relojería
Mexico City, October 2021 – Jaeger-LeCoultre was delighted to welcome watch enthusiasts and collectors at The St. Regis Mexico City this past week for the Salon Internacional Alta Relojeria. The Maison was honored to have the presence of Eduardo Fagliano, showcasing the savoir-faire of Casa Fagliano and the Fagliano straps that bring elegance and modernity to the Reverso Collection.
When one of world’s finest polo bootmakers joins forces with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture, the result is the very pinnacle of craftsmanship. A family business operating since 1892, Casa Fagliano utilizes techniques passed down by generations to produce handmade Reverso watch straps from the same cordovan leather used to make their signature polo boots.
La Grande Maison and the renowned bootmaker have a great number of values in common. Their two realms share a respect for expert craftsmanship, meticulous detailing, a passion for the product, and the pursuit of perfection.
Ninety years after the emblematic Reverso was born, Jaeger-LeCoultre welcomed watch enthusiasts at The St. Regis Mexico City where they were able to explore the world of Reverso, easily identifiable by its unique and timeless expression of the Art Deco movement.
Guests discovered the Maison’s latest novelties such as the Reverso Duetto Medium, fitted with an automatic mechanical movement. Distinguished by the strength and purity of line of the original Art Deco design and identified by the three straight-line gadroons that define both the upper and lower edges of the case, the new Reverso Duetto Medium introduces fresh colors and new aesthetic refinement to the collection.
Visitors enjoyed the new interpretation of one its most admired models, the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds, presented by La Grande Maison in a green version this year, recalling the early use of color that distinguished the Reverso.
Collectors and guests were also able to discover exclusive pieces such as the Reverso Tribute Nonantième, a new expression of high-complication watchmaking. The classically elegant aesthetic of the front dial gives no hint of the surprise concealed on the reverse side of the watch. Flipping the case over reveals an entirely new visual expression of some of watchmaking’s most familiar complications. Dramatic and captivating, it is unlike anything seen on a Reverso before.
