Berger’s inception dates back to the early twentieth century when Mr. Alex Elias Berger – born in Poland in 1895 – founded in Amsterdam, Holland, a workshop dedicated to diamond cutting, creating a small diamond industry. Later, in 1918 at the end of World War I, the jeweler moved to Antwerp, Belgium, where he started again with diamond cutting, establishing himself as one of the best jewelers in the European industry.
